Who We Are

A rural development society shaped by community action.

LEMSACHENLOK is an amalgamation of Yaongyimchen words describing research, reasoning, work, fundraising, and society. From biodiversity peace corridors to traditional learning models, the organization combines ecological action with people-centered development.

Founded in Longleng, Nagaland, LEMSACHENLOK works across villages by bringing together elders, youth, women, and researchers to protect landscapes that remain critical for wildlife and human wellbeing alike.
